On July 8, 2022, the world lost a man who was a bright light in every life he impacted. Joe Legassic died after a battle with lung cancer.
But he was much more than that battle. He was a father, grandfather, brother, husband, friend, coach, colleague, referee, volunteer, teacher, mentor, and so much more.
The best way we can honour Joe is to come together to keep his memory alive, and give back to the community he loved dearly.
On March 25, 2023, bring your skates, throw on a jersey, and please join us at Planet Ice in Maple Ridge for the Joe Legassic Memorial Skate at 1:30 p.m. Full details on the About page.
